The European Environment Agency is organizing an open competition
with a view to recruiting a temporary agent to work in the area below.
The competition is organised under the assumption that the post,
assigned to this area of work, will become vacant.
Coordination and leadership of the NFP/Eionet group and general EEA
interaction with Eionet. Ensuring the development and evolution of the
Shared European Environmental Information System (SEEIS) in the frame
of NFP/Eionet.
Part of the team on EEA governance and networking, covering also the
Management Board / Bureau and the scientific committee.

The successful candidate will be offered a Temporary Agent contract
in accordance with the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of
the European Communities. The duration of the contract will be for an
initial time period of four years, renewable.
Eligibility of candidates will be assessed according to compliance with all formal requirements by the closing date for the submission of applications.
Eligible candidates whose application shows evidence of all required competences and skills may be invited for an interview, which will be held for the most part in English.
