This figure shows the relative importance (%) of the main pathways of introduction of non-indigenous species (NIS) across regional seas of Europe in 2014.
This dashboard shows the EU and regional deployment of fishing effort (KWdays-at-sea) of categories of fishing techniques/gears in 2011, and also its change (%) over time between 2004-2011. These categories differ in their impact on the seafloor, with mobile gears with high (Beam trawl & Dredge), low (Bottom trawl & Seine) and no impact (Pelagic trawl) together with two types of passive gear of which the longlines have less impact than the Gillnets, pots & traps.
This figure shows the proportion of commercial fish landings per regional sea with Good Environmental Status (GES) assessment information, as defined in the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. GES information is broken down by level of exploitation (F) and reproductive capacity (SSB) criteria.
