Metadata

Methodology:: From the Urban Atlas classification vector dataset (2006) the classes 141, 142, 300 and 500 were extracted for core cities and summed up to a new class named Green Urban area. Next the percentage of Urban Green area compared to the total area was calculated of each core city yet available within the Urban Atlas database.
