The sea region data series are calculated as the average of annual mean data from river monitoring stations in each sea region. The data thus represents rivers or river basins draining into that particular sea. Only complete series after inter/extrapolation are included (see indicator specification). The number of river monitoring stations included per sea region is given in parentheses.
The data series per region are calculated as the average of the annual mean for river monitoring stations in the region. Only complete series after inter/extrapolation are included (see indicator specification). The number of river monitoring stations included per geographical region is given in parentheses
The data series per region are calculated as the average of the annual mean for groundwater bodies (GWBs) in the region. Only complete series after inter/extrapolation are included (see indicator specification). The number of groundwater bodies included per geographical region is given in parentheses.
The amount of hazardous waste characterized by European Waste List codes in 1000 tonnes exported within or outside the EU-27
The figure shows the amounts and the value of selected non-hazardous waste materials that were exported and imported from/into the EU (excluding Intra-EU trade).
The amount of total hazardous waste imported and exported from each member state for 2009 is shown with export as the positive values and import as the negative values
The amount of hazardous waste in 1000 tonnes exported within or outside the EU-27
The graph shows export from EU-27 member countries to differenct country groups. Country groups are defined as: EU-15, EU-12, EFTA, OECD (non-EFTA)
The table shows the 30 largest flows of hazardous waste between EU-27 countries, and between EU-27 countries and other countries, shown in tonnes
The amount of hazardous waste generation in the EU-27, EU-15 and EU-12
The graph show export from EU-27 member countries, based on the reported treatment of the hazardous waste
a) Time series of the amounts of waste plastic exports out of and within the EU in millions of tonnes b) Time series of the amount of waste iron and steel exports out of and within the EU in million tonnes c) Time series of the amount of waste copper, aluminium and nickel exports out of and within the EU in million tonnes d) Time series of the amount of precious metals waste exports out of and within the EU in million tonnes
