What is CORINE land cover?

HelpCenter FAQ

The 'Coordination of information on the environment' (Corine) is an inventory of European land cover split into 44 different land cover classes. Corine also shows the changes between classes over four periods since 1990. Both land cover and land cover change are shown at high resolution on a cartographic map. The Corine database is produced in cooperation with European countries. Data are available for the period 1990-2018 and can be downloaded free of charge.
