Moreover, it could be further investigated if data collected on the Emerald Network ( http://www.coe.int/t/e/cultural_co-operation/environment/nature_and_biological_diversity/ecological_networks/The_Emerald_Network/ ) can also be used to upgrade the indicator. It would be interesting to distinguish between marine and terrestrial areas.
