The figure shows the share of bathing water quality classes by country for the season of 2023.
The figure shows the trend of pollutant releases into air in the EU-27 from 2010 to 2022 by using 2010 releases values as reference. In addition, gross value added (GVA) from the industry sector is presented.
The figure presents the location of the E-PRTR facilities representing 50% of the external costs by the main air pollutants (NOₓ, SO₂, PM₁₀, NH₃, NMVOC) in 2021. The colour and size of the circles indicates the range of estimated externalities in million EUR. See additional information below.
The map shows the percentage of seasons for which water stress (WEI+ values exceeding 40) were recorded.
This map shows the number of high fire danger days in summer (June, July, August) in the baseline period (1981-2010) and in 2041-2070 under Representative Concentration Pathways 8.5 (RCP8.5) scenario. This Index is based on the Fire Weather Index (FWI). The index gives the number of days in a given period presenting favourable meteorological conditions to triggering a wildfire. The higher the Index, the higher the risk of wildfire.
