This chart shows the yearly net land take per country for both periods, expressed in parts per million (ppm). The values indicate the number of square kilometres of net land take each year for every million square kilometres of total Functional Urban Area (FUA) surface within each country. The analysis focuses on the area where Functional Urban Area (FUA) boundaries from both periods overlap.
