Evolution of stationary GHG emissions under the EU ETS. 2005-2030

This figure presents the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions from stationary installations under the Emissions Trading System (ETS) 1 in the EU for 2005, 2023 and 2024. Data for 2030 are taken from countries projections with existing (WEM) and additional (WAM) policies and measures. The cap figures are computed according to the European Commission decided linear reduction factors and consequent capped amounts of tradable allowances under the ETS1 in the respective years.
