Eco-innovation index, EU-27, 2014-2024 (EU-27=100 in 2014)

This figure shows the relative change in the eco-innovation score of the EU-27 as a whole from 2014 to 2024. ‘Eco-innovation is any innovation that make progress towards a more green and sustainable economy by reducing environmental pressures, increasing resilience or using natural resources more efficiently’. The eco-innovation index is based on the eco-innovation scoreboard, which has 12 indicators in five thematic areas.
