Average CO₂ emissions from new vans and fleet-wide CO₂ targets

Until 2020, the assessment of the CO₂ performance of manufacturers was based on the CO₂ emissions determined in accordance with the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) test procedure. From 2021 onwards, performance and target compliance is assessed on the basis of CO₂ emissions under the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP), which is more representative of real-world conditions and therefore results in higher emission values.
