EU Green Week 2023

6-7 June 2023 - EU Green Week is an annual event, organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for the Environment. It brings together different stakeholders interested in the EU's environmental policies. This year's edition will focus, among others, on biodiversity, circular economy and zero pollution.

How do pesticides impact health and ecosystems in Europe?

26 April 2023 — The European Environment Agency will present a new briefing and discuss the latest knowledge on how pesticides impact health and ecosystems in Europe during a hybrid event hosted by Sarah Wiener and Anja Hazekamp , members of the European Parliament.

World Circular Economy Forum 2023

11 May & 30 May - 2 June - The World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (WCEF2023) will gather together forward-looking thinkers and doers and present the game-changers in the circular economy. The EEA will be presenting its work on circular economy in several side events.

Copernicus Land User Event

28 September 2023 — This year’s edition of the Copernicus Land User Event focuses on the topic of Urban Applications. It is one of the main opportunities for all Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) users and stakeholders to meet, share experiences and learn about the latest developments.

EU Clean Air Forum 2023

23 and 24 November 2023 — The fourth Clean Air Forum will bring together clean air stakeholders and interested parties from across the European Union including competent authorities of the Member States at all relevant levels, the Commission, the European Environment Agency, industry, civil society, and the scientific community for several days of intense dialogue on main clean air issues.

One Health Conference — One Health for All, All for One Health

13 November 2023 — Europe is facing increasingly complex and frequent threats to health and well-being. Many of these threats, including the recent COVID-19 pandemic, serve as a reminder that human health is interconnected with the health of animals, plants, and ecosystems .

World Circular Economy Forum 2024

The world’s leading event for circular economy thinkers, doers and leaders hits Brussels in April 2024, showcasing the most impactful circular solutions from around the world. Online participation is open to everyone.

Copenhagen Light Festival

For the first time ever, we are participating in the Copenhagen Light Festival 2024 through our collaboration with the French artist Simon Chevalier . The installation can be viewed in front of our premises on Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Tripartite Exchange Seminar 2024

Eurofound, Cedefop and the EEA are organising a Tripartite Exchange Seminar (TES) to identify the way the green, just transition is dealt with through social dialogue in European countries. It will zoom in on the impact of the green transition on industrial relations, employment, skills, and training needs at national and sectoral level and explore how the green, just transition can become a standard topic of the social dialogue agenda.

EU Green Week conference: Towards a water resilient Europe

The 2024 EU Green Week is part of #WaterWIseEU , a campaign to stimulate an EU-wide conversation around water today and in the future. The campaign aims at fostering awareness and promoting positive, collaborative solutions. Organisations across Europe are invited to join the campaign now .
