Join us for the presentation of the 2025 edition of the 8th Environment Action Programme (8th EAP) monitoring report on Friday January 23 from 10:30 to 12:00. This webinar will present the latest assessment of the EU’s progress toward its 2030 environmental and climate objectives, based on 28 headline indicators.

The European Union has a long-term vision for Europeans to live well within planetary boundaries, achieving a well-being economy where resources are used efficiently, and nothing is wasted. This vision is outlined in the 8th Environment Action Programme (EAP) which provides the strategic framework for EU environmental policy through 2030, supporting the long-term goal of living well within planetary boundaries by 2050.

The EEA monitors progress towards the objectives of the 8th EAP and highlights areas where decisive action is needed to fulfil the EU's ambitions.
