Through roundtable and high-level panel discussions, the EEA is excited to host this engaging day with business, civil society and other stakeholders, to reflect on and discuss key messages of 'Europe’s environment 2025' and what they mean for the political priorities of the EU.

The European Environment Agency (EEA) is discussing its flagship report 'Europe’s environment 2025' during the launch week of 29 September - 3 October 2025. On Thursday 2 October, this stakeholder launch event takes place in Brussels aiming to discuss and understand how EEA data and knowledge can continue to underpin the work of business and civil society.

About the event

The event will be attended by around 120 stakeholders representing business and civil society, including various NGOs, social actors representing marginalized groups in society and trade unions, youth representation, research and business.

The morning session will consist of two high-level panel debates of 3-4 speakers each, discussing the future of Europe’s environment and climate in the context of current political priorities. These morning sessions will be live streamed on Teams and are open for anyone who wants to join:

In the afternoon, the in-person participants will have the opportunity to discuss questions about Europe’s environment and its key messages, in a roundtable setting.
