The figure shows, for the 40 countries considered, the contribution of each of the six specific diseases to the total burden of disease in terms of disability-adjusted life years (DALY) attributable to exposure to PM2.5 concentrations above the 2021 WHO air quality guideline value of 5µg/m³ .
