Methodology

The GDP data have been extracted from the Urban Audit database and joined with the corresponding Urban Audit cities shapefile. The reference year is 2004 ; due to data quality issues data from 2001 are used for ES. After joining the statistical with the geographic data the information is mapped as coloured dots.

Data for Spain are from 2001 due to data-quality issues.
