The figure shows the global average concentration of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. Plus two peak concentrations that correspond to a 67% probability of limiting the increase in global mean temperature to 1.5°C and 2.0°C.

The figure includes the contribution of gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol (KPG), gases, and the Montreal Protocol (MPG) and other forcing agents, such as ozone and aerosols (here called non-protocol gasses).

Methodology

The global concentration and forcing from different greenhouse gasses and other agents have been taken from literature/data sources. They have been added by using Radiative forcing (see methodology section), and that back to ppm CO₂e by the the forcing of CO₂.
