Methodology

The methodology for the calculation of DMI / DMC was revised by Eurostat in 2007. For this figure, the data are calculated after the revised methodology from 2000 on, and after the IFF methodology before.

index1970=100 (for EU-15 countries), and index1992=100 (for others)

Additional information

The data are taken from external data bases (GDP millions of 2011 US$ (converted to 2011 price level with updated 2005 EKS PPPs), and total labour hours from The Total Ecoomy database, DMC from Eurostat, IFF database and WI database, Total primary energy supply from IEA database and Eurostat).
