Note: In producing this map, satellite images of the flooded areas were examined and used as a basis for mapping the major river catchments affected by flooding during the period 1998-2005

Overlay of flooded areas polygons and GISCO river catchments in order to get the flood recurrence by watershed, i.e. how many times each watershed has been affected by flooding in the period 1998-2005.
