The LULUCF Methods Explorer gives access to information related to a selection of methods in use by Member States in their inventories to estimate emissions under the LULUCF sector.
It is designed to support consistent and comparable reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals in the Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) sector across the European Union.
The explorer provides an integrated environment for consulting methodological information used by Member States in their National Inventory Documents (NID), thereby enhancing accessibility to key data underlying EU climate reporting obligations under the UNFCCC and the EU Governance Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018/1999).
It offers several dedicated tabs to browse, compare and download information.
