The PERTE of the Circular Economy is a plan that aims to accelerate the transition to a more efficient and sustainable production system in the use of raw materials, in order to achieve the objectives of the Spanish Strategy for Circular Economy, Spain 2030. The PERTE on Circular Economy also aims to increase the competitiveness of industrial sectors and companies in general, and to ensure greater strategic autonomy for the country in a context of high international uncertainty.
In this way, PERTE is committed to the three fundamental objectives for the promotion of the circular economy: promoting the eco-design of products (R+D+I), improving waste management through treatment plants that increase reuse, recycling and the incorporation of recovered raw materials in the production of new products. It also aims to promote digitalisation, which is linked to both objectives and will improve the competitiveness and innovation.
PERTE on CE is considered as aid scheme based on articles 25,29, 36 and 47 of GBER
