The aim of this study is to develop a mechanism to measure the impact of the implementation of the Ministerial Order on the Declaration of By-products and the End-of-waste Criteria approved by the General State Administration in relation to the recycling of raw materials towards a transition to a circular economy.
The study, for which surveys were conducted with the companies benefiting from each of the approved orders, aimed to determine the actual implementation by the affected sector and to try to estimate the volume of material that will be reintegrated into the production cycle as Secondary Raw Materials (SRM).
