In 2023, a pilot sorting and material exchange site named 'Nomales' was established in Stopiņu Parish, Latvia, officially opening to visitors on October 4, 2023, by Ltd. CleanR.

Residents can deliver construction waste generated from their households to the site and exchange it for already sorted construction materials, free of charge, suitable for construction purposes (including three types of rubble and soil). The amount of construction material received for free equals the amount deposited at the exchange point. The site is equipped with storage containers, shovels, and an electric scale to facilitate material exchange. Additionally, it features 16 waste containers accommodating 11 different types of waste, enhancing its multifunctional capability. Clients can also drop off materials, tools, and electronics for repair that are surplus or no longer needed after household repairs, all of which are registered upon arrival at the exchange point.

Information about available items for exchange is posted on the digital platform 'Use Again' (lietovelreiz.lv). The 'Catalogue' section of the platform provides details on obtaining free materials for home repairs and other goods from Ltd. CleanR's building materials exchange point at 'Nomales'. This ensures that information about materials and items at the exchange point reaches a broader community, connects them with new users, and contributes to reducing landfill waste from repair leftovers.
