Job description:

To assist the Financial and Logistics Group in the reimbursement of travel costs to staff, meeting participants and interviewees. To act as Financial Initiating Agent for administrative budget lines and to create new legal entities and bank accounts. To assist the group in routine administrative tasks.


Function and duties:

  • Calculation and de-commitment of meeting, mission and training costs
  • Initiation of payments and bank details in SI2
  • Help desk on travel regulations
  • Maintenance of Administration’s financial archive
  • Provide support to other staff when needed and appropriate

Eligibility:

Education certificates and diplomas

  • A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma, or a level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education and professional experience of at least three years

Range of professional experience and skills:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience including work in an international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Software, namely Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge and experience in SI2/ABAC and SIC mission
  • Knowledge in EU mission regulation would be an asset
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills, accuracy and understanding of figures
  • Good knowledge of English

Selection:

The procedure comprises a pre-selection of the best qualified candidates based on the eligibility criteria in relation to the post to be filled. Pre-selected candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will be held for the most part in English.

Recruitment:

The selected candidates shall before recruitment undergo a compulsory medical examination to establish that they meet the standard of physical fitness necessary to perform the duties involved. The selected candidate will be employed for an initial time period of four years, renewable.

Candidates who have not been admitted to the selection procedure will be notified by letter. The candidate may ask to have her/his application reconsidered by a sending a request for review to the Chairman of the Selection Committee at the address indicated on the letter within 21 calendar days from the date of the letter of notification.
