Hydrographic vector features digitised from historical topographic maps

Historical military topographic maps have been the basis for the digitisation of hydrographic features mapped in the period from 1816 to 1869. The digitisation was carried out in three different areas of interest (“pilot areas”) in the Danube River basin: 1) Lower and Upper Austria, 2) Balta Brailei - Wallachia, and 3) Drava River Catchment.
