Administrative units from EuroBoundaryMap and GAUL

This dataset maps NUTS3 regions (Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics) or where not available: Administrative Units from EuroBoundaryMap onto an Inspire compliant grid with 1000m resolution. For countries not covered by EuroBoundaryMap, GAUL1 (Global administrative unit layers) administrative units have been used to complement the geographical coverage
