Environmental information systems
Waterbase is the generic name given to the EEA's databases on the status and quality of Europe's rivers, lakes, groundwater bodies and transitional, coastal and marine waters, on the quantity of Europe's water resources, and on the emissions to surface waters from point and diffuse sources of pollution.

Discodata provides an endpoint to access and filter
data directly in the database. The main use for the portal is to provide access to datasets for specifically developed
applications. But it also provides a user interface that gives any user an option to access, filter and download the data.
