It is Specially Protected Areas (SPAs) for birds and adopted Sites of Community Importance (SCIs) for habitats and other species. The EUNIS sub-sample database has information on sites officially adopted by the European Commission. Examples of the information provided are site code, location, lists of fauna, flora and habitat types. The EUNIS sub-sample database is also available for interactive querying in the EUNIS portal.
