For the Mediterranean Sea- the CNR has reprocessed Pathfinder V5.2 (PFV52) AVHRR data over period Nov 1981-Dec 2012 to provide with daily gap-free maps (L4) at the original PFV52 resolution at 0.0417° x 0.0417°. The data are interpolated through an Optimal Interpolation algorithm.
