Explanatory notes for reporting nationally designated marine areas


EEA has during 2012 and as part of preparing the “Protected Areas in Europe” report 2012, discovered a gap in the data contained within the CDDA. The gap is in regard to the nationally designated marine areas, which seems to be lacking a number of national site designations.
