Version 3 incorporates digital data send by countries, therefore the polygons and lines in the map have different generalization levels. The changes in this version are: Lithuania: the whole country is in the Boreal region. Czech Republic: change in border between Continental and Pannonian regions. Slovak Republic: change in border between Alpine and Pannonian regions.
Geographical coverage note: Russian Federation covered to Ural. Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan partly covered.
