SOER 2010 provides an assessment of the most up-to-date information and data from 32 EEA member countries as well as six cooperating countries in the Western Balkans. It also addresses four regional seas: North-east Atlantic, Baltic, Mediterranean and Black. The 'Europe' addressed in this report is therefore home to around 600 million people and covers about 5.85 million km2.
