Others are contained completely within a country and are known as National RBDs. Bottom: RBDs in EU and outside EU. The boundaries of the RBDs extending beyond the EU27 border was provided by Norway and Switzerland or derived from the CCM database developed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC). Danube was supplied by the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR).
