Classification uses background level for lower class and EU limit value for foodstuff for higher class. EU-legislation limit for cadmium (Cd) in foodstuffs 'bivalve molluscs' is 1 mg/kg wet weight (EU, 2001b). Larger symbols may obscure other symbols.
