The map viewer development has benefited from the advice and guidance of the WISE technical group during the development phase. The WISE technical group consists of representatives from DG Environment, Eurostat and the Joint Research Centre as well as some Member State experts.

The entire project took place under the coordination of EEA staff Jan Bliki (Map viewer development) and Stefan Jensen (overall coordination) with management support from Jesper Skovdal Christiansen (ATKINS).

WISE public website and map viewer are a continuous project which will continue to rely on partnerships between European institutions and Member States.
