CDDA 2018 new reporting re-using INSPIRE data sets

In order to avoid double reporting, the EEA has to be able to re-use the data sets provided by countries in compliance with the INSPIRE data specifications for the Annex I theme on Protected Sites. This presentation will inform about how the EEA will accommodate the requirement to re-use INSPIRE Protected Sites data sets by developing a new reporting mechanism, the so-called “Linked approach”. In parallel, countries that are not implementing the INSPIRE should be able to continue to report their CDDA data sets to the EEA. The solution chosen for the CDDA reporting is flexible enough to accommodate all reporting countries while avoiding to have two parallel data flows.
