The Agency has after 6 years of existence decided to reorganise to better meet the challenges in the coming years.
The Bureau of the EEA met on 13 June 2001 at the Agencys headquarters in Copenhagen. The meeting was chaired by Kees Zoeteman, chairman of the Management Board and deputy Director General for Environment at the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment.
