This figure presents the GHG emissions per sector in the EU for 2005 and 2023, and model based outcomes that reflect required ambition level for 2030. The emission data for 2005 and 2023 are from EEA (2025),while the reference model based emisisons levels for 2030 are based on the mix 55 scenario, one of the core policy scenaroi#s underpinning the 2030 climate target plan.

The model-based emissions in the MIX 55 scenario refer to a core policy scenario underpinning the 2030 Climate Target Plan (4), while the emission data are from the EEA (3).
