Environmental information systems
The indicator shows environmental protection expenditure expressed as a share of gross domestic product (GDP). It includes activities related to the protection of ambient air, water and soil, as well as waste and wastewater management, noise reduction, biodiversity conservation, radiation protection, and environmental research and development.
