Train to Copenhagen

The International Union of Railways (UIC) and its members and partners are organizing the Climate Express train from Brussels to Copenhagen on 5 December, a 12-hour on-board conference on transport and climate change where the aim will be to find out how we can solve the challenges posed by the transport sector in relation to global warming.

As part of this project events will be organised all over the world to illustrate the possibilities for sustainable travel. Peder Jensen, head of the Energy and Transport group at EEA, will be on board to moderate a panel discussion on 'The future of transport — EU´s white paper'. The train will arrive at Copenhagen Central Station at 22:55.
