International conference on Environmental Footprinting in the food & drink sector and beyond

The PEF World Forum hosts the PEF Food Conference, 6-7 May 2014 Berlin, Germany. The event focuses on the Environmental Footprint Initiative by the European Commission. The conference is a platform where experts from the food, drink and packaging sector meet and discuss about the implementation of sustainable production and consumption patterns in the food chain. The highlight of the PEF Food Conference will be the presentation of the selected EU Environmental Footprint Pilot Projects for food, feed, drink and related products (e.g. fertilisers, food packaging, catering services). The pilots project groups and further key members of the process will provide an outlook on the upcoming pilot phase and describe opportunities to join in.
