EEA/NCE/20/001 - Negotiated procedure to provide a report on sewage sludge and the circular economy

The EEA is planning an assessment on sewage sludge in the circular economy, aimed at identifying the changes in practice necessary to move to a more circular economy, ensuring that what is used as a resource does not harm the environment or human health. The work is focused on chemical contamination, rather than pathogenic. Information provided should be quantitative where possible and needs to reflect the variation in situation that exists across Europe.
