The figure shows the difference in emissions of the main air pollutants in 2019 compared to 2005 levels. NMVOCs (non-methane volatile organic compounds), NOx (nitrogen oxides), PM2.5 (fine particulate matter), SOx (sulphur oxides) and NH3 (ammonia).

Methodology:: The resource came from a dataset reported by EU Member States on their national emissions for the main air pollutants. The data was processed and data tables for views were created. The visualisation was done in Tableau software.
