Research at LGGE focuses on three priorities: Past and present evolution of the atmospheric composition and study of feedbacks between atmospheric chemistry and climate ; The polar regions and their past, present and future impact on the climate system ; Vulnerability of glaciers and snow cover in mountain regions under climatic change and its impacts on water resources. Ocean processes and their effects on the climate system, notably via ocean-atmosphere-ice interactions
