Sharing environmental information in action

The event will further build on the momentum gained from recent international events such as the 7th UNECE Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the global Eye on Earth Summit in Abu Dhabi. Both events were pivotal in securing support for EEA's Eye on Earth global public environmental information service.

'Eye on Earth: Top 20 stories' competition

The Eye on Earth Top 20 story maps competition will be announced at the side event on June 19. The competition offers an opportunity for contestants to submit their story maps to further develop the global citizen observatory using Eye on Earth.
