Countries data reporting — related reporting obligations

Reporting obligations are requirements to provide information agreed between countries and international bodies such as the EEA or international conventions. Reporting obligations provide the basis for most environmental information flows.

For all facilities which undertake one or more of the activities specified in Annex I above the applicable capacity thresholds, the reporting covers: (a) releases to air, water and land of any pollutant specified in Annex II for which the applicable threshold value specified in Annex II is exceeded; (b) off-site transfers of hazardous waste exceeding 2 tonnes per year or of non hazardous waste exceeding 2000 tonnes per year, for any operations of recovery or disposal with the exception of the disposal operations of land treatment and deep injection referred to in Article 6, indicating with "R" or "D" respectively whether the waste is destined for recovery or disposal and, for transboundary movements of hazardous waste, the name and address of the recoverer or the disposer of the waste and the actual recovery or disposal site; (c) off-site transfers of any pollutant specified in Annex II in waste water destined for waste-water treatment for which the threshold value specified in Annex II, column 1b is exceeded. 669	Fluorinated gases (F-Gases) reporting by undertakings Producers, importers and exporters of fluorinated gases listed in Annex I to the F-Gas Regulation shall report to the Commission and to Member States: (a) each producer who produces more than one tonne of fluorinated greenhouse gases per annum shall report: • its total production of each fluorinated greenhouse gas in the Community, identifying the main categories of applications in which the substance is expected to be used, • the quantities of each fluorinated greenhouse gas it has placed on the market in the Community, • any quantities of each fluorinated greenhouse gas recycled, reclaimed or destroyed; (b) each importer who imports more than one tonne of fluorinated greenhouse gases per annum, including any producers who also import, shall report: • the quantity of each fluorinated greenhouse gas it has imported or placed on the market in the Community, separately identifying the main categories of applications in which the substance is expected to be used, • any quantities of each used fluorinated greenhouse gas it has imported for recycling, for reclamation or for destruction; (c) each exporter who exports more than one tonne of fluorinated greenhouse gases per annum, including any producers who also export, shall report: • the quantities of each fluorinated greenhouse gas it has exported from the Community, • any quantities of each used fluorinated greenhouse gas it has exported for recycling, for reclamation or for destruction.	12 months	2014-03-31
