Green Awards – deadline for applications extended to 16 September
The International Green Awards for Creativity in Sustainability are still accepting entries – and with 23 categories, there may be an award which applies to your organisation, community or favourite celebrity. The awards aim to showcase the very best products, systems and innovations inspiring others to make positive changes towards sustainability.
Professor Jacqueline McGlade, Executive Director of the European Environment Agency (EEA), will take part in judging the award. Categories include many different areas such as Best Green Technology, Best Sustainable Investment, Best Green Employee Engagement and the Lifetime Achievement Award. The winners will be announced on 24 November, 2011.
