SOER 2010 is aimed primarily at policymakers, in Europe and beyond, involved with framing and implementing policies that could support environmental improvements in Europe.
'SOER 2020 in a policy context' highlights a number of significant EU policy reviews or revision processes that are planned for the coming years, and makes the connection to relevant supporting information provided by the EEA (including SOER 2010).
