Developments in energy efficiency of average household appliances, alongside ownership rates of appliances and total electricity consumption in households (SCP 023) - Assessment DRAFT created Mar 2012: Improvements in energy efficiency of some key appliances have been more than offset by an increasing stock of those appliances in the EU-27. Such developments may be a key factor in a 29% increase in the household electricity consumption for appliances and lighting, 1990-2009.
