Figure Gaps between 2006 emissions and Kyoto targets, relative to base-year emissions
Countries are sorted by regional grouping (EU-15, EU-12, other EEA countries and Croatia) and ranked by gap between their 2006 emissions and their Kyoto target (without use of Kyoto mechanisms).

File reStructured Text A day in my forest: Environmental Atlas of Europe — Poland
Silent except for the humming of bees and the distant hammering of woodpeckers, Białowieża Forest is a fairytale landscape of tall trees, peat bogs and meadows – home to innumerable species of birds, invertebrates, lichens, fungi and other flora and fauna including grey wolves, lynx, elk and a large herd of rare European bison.

Indicator Assessment Production and consumption of ozone depleting substances (CSI 006) - Assessment published Dec 2011
The total production and consumption of ozone depleting substances in EEA member countries has decreased significantly since the Montreal Protocol was signed in 1987, nowadays it is practically zero. Globally, the implementation of the Montreal Protocol has led to a decrease in the atmospheric burden of ozone-depleting substances (ODSs) in the lower atmosphere and in the stratosphere. Many ODSs are also potent greenhouse gases. The phasing out of ODS under the Montreal Protocol has reduced global greenhouse gas emissions by an amount 5 to 6 times larger than the UNFCCC's Kyoto Protocol target for the first commitment period, 2008-2012.

Figure Distance-to-target (Kyoto Protocol for new Member States in 2004
The distance-to-target indicator (DTI) measures the deviation in percentage points of actual emissions in 2004 from a (hypothetical) linear path between base-year levels and 2010
